Starbucks Campus Card
The Background
This new method of payment allows students and faculty on college/university campuses to use their meal plan to purchase at select Starbucks near campus.
My Role
I was the Product Designer, leading from a customer service lens. I drove discovery to delivery–including advocating for an appropriate customer facing name, building new illustrations, providing content and ensuring accessibility.
Facilitated cross functional collaboration
I took initiative to include the Point of Sales team to ensure that we were accounting for the best barista experience.
To facilitate discussion and define scope, I proactively documented these various scenarios and tandem customer & barista experiences.
Led technical and business discussions
To ensure clear communication with all teams, including our internal stakeholders. I prepared all flows that communicated every scenario, including all error states, account management, deletion, etc. I also created decks to support my business partners as they work with third party vendors.
Accessibility
Worked closely with Accessibility team to ensure we met standards and implemented an inclusive experience. I created this documentation to communicate specs with Engineers.
